Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC
National Weather Service Blacksburg VA
729 PM EDT Tue Apr 25 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Due to recent heavy rainfall fuels will remain wet for the next several
days. The Appalachians and central mid Atlantic region will be trending
to a warm and humid pattern with minimum RH values generally remaining
well above 40 percent through the weekend. Chances for showers and
thunderstorms will be trending upward this weekend.

Low pressure centered over the eastern North Carolina this afternoon
will slowly drift northeast and off the coast tonight into
Wednesday. High pressure will build in Wednesday and continue for
the second half of the week. This will result in a considerable
boost to the temperature with above seasonal warmth expected by the
weekend.
