.DISCUSSION...

After one last day of fair, mild, and breezy conditions to
start the week,a cold front will move through the region
tonight accompanied by widespread wetting rainfall and possibly
a few rumbles of thunder, along with gusty winds. Behind the
front, expect falling temperatures to bring persistent snow
showers to the higher elevations west of the Blue Ridge with
a couple inches of accumulation possible through Wednesday
night, along with strong gusty winds.
