Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
353 PM CDT Tue Oct 17 2017

.DISCUSSION...
After another cool night tonight, a gradual warming trend will begin
Wednesday as a light southeast 20ft wind returns, and upper level
ridging shifts east over the area. Min RH`s Wednesday afternoon will
be slightly higher than what has been observed today, ranging from
30-35%. Additional RH modification will continue Thursday as well as
the air mass gradually moistens, ranging from 35-40%. Temperatures
will return back above normal Thursday and Friday. More humid conditions
will return this weekend, with isolated showers and thunderstorms
possible Saturday, although rain chances will finally return in earnest
late Saturday through Sunday along/ahead of a cold front and associated
upper level trough. Widespread rainfall amounts of 0.50-1.00+ inches
is expected this weekend, before cooler and drier air returns in
wake of the cold frontal passage early next week.
