...DISCUSSION FROM SFOFWFMTR...

A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INLAND TODAY BRINGING LIGHT RAIN TO
PRIMARILY THE NORTH BAY AND SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS. HIGHER HUMIDITY
TODAY WILL BE REPLACED BY A DRYING AND WARMING TREND FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY AS THE MARINE LAYER REFORMS AND BECOMES SHALLOWER. THE NEXT
THREAT FOR SHOWERS SHOULD BE TOWARD MIDWEEK WITH ANOTHER PACIFIC
SYSTEM APPROACHING THE COAST.

...DISCUSSION FROM SFOFWFSTO...

A PASSING WEATHER SYSTEM WILL BRING SOME CHANGES TO THE REGION OVER
THE NEXT 24 TO 36 HOURS. BREEZY SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS AHEAD OF
THE SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE THIS EVENING. CLOUDS AND HUMIDITY WILL
INCREASE OVERNIGHT AS MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH THE SYSTEM MOVES IN.
THURSDAY WILL SEE LIGHT SHOWERS SPREAD FROM WEST TO EAST IN THE
EARLY MORNING HOURS. AS THE UPPER TROUGH MOVES OVERHEAD IN THE
AFTERNOON...THERE IS ENOUGH INSTABILITY TO SUPPORT SOME ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS. PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS WILL BE LIGHT WITH WETTING
RAINS CONFINED TO ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP. PRECIPITATION WILL
SHIFT SOUTH EARLY FRIDAY AS THE WEATHER SYSTEM DIVES SOUTH. BEHIND
THE WEATHER SYSTEM A NORTH WIND WILL RETURN. THIS WILL RESULT IN
WARMING AND DRYING CONDITIONS FOR FRIDAY. LATE FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY...LOW LEVEL WINDS WILL TAKE MORE OF A NORTHEAST DIRECTION.
