...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OFF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COAST WILL
CONTINUE TO PULL MOISTURE NORTHWARD INTO THE REGION TODAY,
RESULTING IN RAIN SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING
THROUGH THE DAY. DAILY THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL PERSIST THROUGH
WEDNESDAY BEFORE CONDITIONS GRADUALLY DRY OUT LATE IN THE WEEK. DRY
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED AREA WIDE FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY AS
TEMPERATURES WARM TO ABOUT 5 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL BY SUNDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OFF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COAST WILL
KEEP HIGH TEMPERATURES A FEW DEGREES BELOW AVERAGE TODAY...WARMING
TO NEAR FOR TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY... THEN 5 TO LOCALLY 10 DEGREES
ABOVE AVERAGE FOR NEXT WEEKEND. MID LEVEL MONSOONAL MOISTURE TO THE
EAST AND NORTH WILL BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FOR THIS
AFTERNOON FOR THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS. THE
MARINE LAYER WILL KEEP HUMIDITIES HIGHER FOR COASTAL AND VALLEY
AREAS...WITH THE MARINE LAYER BECOMING SHALLOWER NEXT WEEKEND.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

AN UPPER LOW SITTING OFF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COAST WILL SPREAD
LIMITED AMOUNTS OF MONSOON MOISTURE INTO THE AREA RESULTING IN
ISOLATED MAINLY AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER
FAR SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA AND SOUTHERN ARIZONA. SOUTHWEST FLOW AROUND
THE LOW WILL USHER IN DRIER AIR FROM THE WEST TUESDAY, CONFINING
MOST OF THE STORMS TO HIGHER TERRAIN AREAS EAST OF PHOENIX. HIGH
TEMPERATURES TODAY AND TUESDAY WILL STAY NEAR SEASONAL NORMALS, AND
MINIMUM RH VALUES OVER THE DESERTS SHOULD MOSTLY HOVER IN THE TEENS.
WINDS BOTH DAYS WILL STAY LIGHT, FAVORING THE SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST
DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
