...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

OUTSIDE OF BREEZY NORTH WINDS FOR AREAS WITHIN THE COLORADO RIVER
VALLEY, GENERALLY QUIET WEATHER IS EXPECTED THROUGH MID WEEK UNDER
A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE. BY THURSDAY, THE NEXT WEATHER DISTURBANCE
WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION BRINGING BREEZY TO WINDY CONDITIONS AND
PRECIPITATION CHANCES TO CENTRAL NEVADA AND PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
CALIFORNIA. COOL TEMPERATURES WILL GRADUALLY WARM THROUGH THE
UPCOMING WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT NEAR THE CALIFORNIA COAST AND SURFACE HIGH
PRESSURE OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL BRING DRY WEATHER WITH A WARMING
TREND THROUGH WEDNESDAY WITH LOCALLY GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS NEAR THE
COASTAL FOOTHILLS AND BELOW PASSES AND CANYONS AT TIMES...MOSTLY
35 MPH OR LESS. A FAST MOVING PACIFIC LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE
INLAND THROUGH CALIFORNIA ON THURSDAY BRINGING COOLING...STRONG
GUSTY WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS...AND A CHANCE OF
MOSTLY LIGHT SHOWERS. DRY WITH A WARMING TREND FOR FRIDAY THROUGH
NEXT WEEKEND AS HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL STRENGTHEN NEAR THE WEST
COAST. SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL BRING
PERIODS OF WEAK TO LOCALLY MODERATE STRENGTH GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS
NEAR THE COASTAL FOOTHILLS AND BELOW PASSES AND CANYONS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

LIGHT WINDS AND CLEAR SKIES ARE FORECAST FOR TODAY AS SATURDAY`S
WEATHER SYSTEM DEPARTS TO OUR EAST. HIGHS WILL STILL BE BELOW
AVERAGE ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY BUT A WARMING TREND WILL FOLLOW LATER
IN THE WEEK. DRY AIR WILL PUSH INTO OUR FORECAST AREA TODAY AND
WILL BRING MINIMUM HUMIDITIES DOWN INTO THE TEENS AND TWENTIES FOR
MOST LOCATIONS. HOWEVER, COLD OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES WILL MAKE FOR
GOOD OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES.
