.DISCUSSION...

Dry and warm conditions are expected across Cheyenne county
Kansas over the next few days. Relative humidity values will fall
below 20 percent by early afternoon, increasing above 30 percent
this evening. Winds will remain out of the west early this
afternoon, shifting to the southwest by mid afternoon, and then
back to the west tonight due to weak surface low pressure near the
Colorado border. At the time of spot issuance winds are around 5
mph, but increases to 10 mph should be expected this afternoon
continuing through tonight. Even warmer and even drier conditions
are expected during the day Thursday, with westerly winds around
10 mph.
