.DISCUSSION...

GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED BEHIND A COLD FRONT TODAY. THE
COMBINATION OF GUSTY WINDS...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND LOW FUEL MOISTURE
MAY ENHANCE THE THREAT FOR THE SPREAD OF WILDFIRES LATE THIS MORNING AND
AFTERNOON. WILL CONTINUE TO HIGHLIGHT CENTRAL VIRGINIA AS THE HIGHEST THREAT
SINCE THE LOWEST HUMIDITY VALUES WILL BE ACROSS THESE AREAS. HOWEVER...IT
WILL BE DRY AND BREEZY EVERYWHERE. WINDS WILL DIMINISH THIS EVENING.

DRY CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST THROUGH TUESDAY...BUT SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL
ALLOW FOR MORE ATMOSPHERIC MOISTURE. THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS
WEDNESDAY.
