This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest California.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hot temperatures through the remainder of the afternoon will pose a
moderate to high risk for heat related illness to those sensitive to
heat or those without adequate cooling. Remember to stay well
hydrated, especially through the hottest part the day.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A Heat Advisory is currently in effect.

Hot afternoon temperatures will persist through the weekend. In
addition, a slight chance of thunderstorms exists across interior
mountainous areas Sunday afternoon.

Warm afternoon temperatures will persist through the
weekend. However, some cooling will occur, with temperatures
gradually falling to near seasonal averages.
