THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE FLORIDA KEYS AND
ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A MODERATE RISK FOR WATERSPOUTS THIS AFTERNOON FOR THE
COASTAL WATERS ADJACENT TO THE ISLAND CHAIN. WATERSPOUTS TEND TO FORM
BENEATH DARK FLAT BASES WITHIN LINES OF CUMULUS CLOUDS. WATERSPOUTS
CAN EASILY FLIP SMALL CRAFT AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL TIMES.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE FLORIDA KEYS AND SURROUNDING
COASTAL WATERS THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. THE PRIMARY THUNDERSTORM
HAZARD WILL BE LIGHTNING STRIKES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE FLORIDA KEYS AND SURROUNDING
COASTAL WATERS SATURDAY THROUGH SUNDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH
THURSDAY. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT AND
MONDAY. THE PRIMARY THUNDERSTORM HAZARD WILL BE CLOUD TO SURFACE
LIGHTNING STRIKES.

LOW PRESSURE LOCATED OFF THE COAST OF NORTHEASTERN CUBA IS EXPECTED
TO TRACK WEST NORTHWESTWARD THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS WEEKEND.
CONDITIONS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE PARTICULARLY CONDUCIVE FOR
DEVELOPMENT BEFORE IT REACHES THE FLORIDA KEYS BETWEEN SUNDAY AND
MONDAY. RESIDENTS AND VISITORS SHOULD CONTINUE TO CLOSELY MONITOR THE
FORECAST. REGARDLESS OF DEVELOPMENT...SOME IMPACTS...SUCH AS HEAVY
RAINS AND GUSTY WINDS...WILL BE POSSIBLE FOR THE FLORIDA KEYS.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THE COASTAL WATERS OF THE
FLORIDA KEYS SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH AT LEAST MONDAY NIGHT AS THE
DISTURBANCE MOVES INTO THE GULF OF MEXICO. FRESHENING SOUTHERLY
BREEZES MAY RESULT IN HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR BOATERS AND MARINERS.
