  COASTAL WATERS FROM PORT FOURCHON LA TO LOWER ATCHAFALAYA RIVER LA
  OUT 20 NM...
  COASTAL WATERS FROM THE SOUTHWEST PASS OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER TO
  PORT FOURCHON LOUISIANA OUT 20 NM...

AT 505 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG
THUNDERSTORM...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THIS
THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SOUTH AT 20 KNOTS. THE STORM WAS LOCATED
OVER BAYOU MOREAU ALONG HIGHWAY 1 WEST OF GRAND ISLE HEADED INTO
THE GULF OF MEXICO.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...WATER SPOUTS...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK
SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.
