...WIDESPREAD GALE FORCE WINDS AND LARGE SEAS EXPECTED ON TUESDAY
AND WEDNESDAY...

A STORM SYSTEM WILL SWEEP THROUGH CALIFORNIA ON TUESDAY. WHILE
LITTLE TO NO RAIN IS EXPECTED...HAZARDOUS SEA CONDITIONS ARE
LIKELY TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. THERE IS MODERATE CONFIDENCE
THAT THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING WIDESPREAD GALE FORCE WINDS TO THE
COASTAL WATERS...INCLUDING THE SANTA BARBARA CHANNEL AND NEARSHORE
WATERS OFF OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY. IN ADDITION TO THE
WINDS...WIDESPREAD LARGE SEAS BETWEEN 8 AND 14 FEET ARE POSSIBLE
AT SHORT PERIODS AROUND 8 SECONDS.

MARINERS SHOULD MAKE PREPARATIONS NOW TO STAY IN SAFE HARBOR FOR
THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
