...HEAVY SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE COASTAL WATERS
TODAY...

A BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS CONTINUES THIS MORNING
OVER THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COASTAL WATERS. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH MID AFTERNOON AS WELL WITH ISOLATED CLOUD
TO WATER LIGHTNING STRIKES. CONDITIONS ON THE WATERS WILL BE
VARIABLE AND COULD BE HAZARDOUS UNDER THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS.

MARINERS SHOULD MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. SEEK SAFE
HARBOR SHOULD THREATENING WEATHER APPROACH. MONITOR NOAA WEATHER
RADIO FOR THE LATEST FORECASTS AND WARNINGS.
