.NOW...
DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER MOST AREAS WEST OF THE RIO GRANDE EXCEPT
FOR EXTREME WESTERN AND GRANT COUNTIES. MOVEMENT IS TO THE SOUTH
SOUTHWEST AROUND 10 MPH. RADAR INDICATED SOME STORMS CONTINUE TO
PRODUCE RAILNFALL RATES OF .3 TO .7 INCHES PER HOUR BUT MOST ACTIVITY
IS IN THE LIGHT TO MODERATE RANGE. EXPECT RAN TO CONTINUE OVER THE
NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS...WITH WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH AND AND CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING. REMEMBER... DO NOT ENTER AREAS WHERE WATER IS
COVERING OR RUNNING ACROSS ROADWAYS. MANY AREAS HAVE RECEIVED A
LOT OF RAILNFALL WITH MANY FLOODED LOW AREAS...SO BE PARTICULARLY
CAREFUL AT NIGHT AS IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE FLOODED AREAS.
