.NOW...
DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS MOVING SOUTH SOUTHWEST ACROSS THE AREA AROUND 10 TO
15 MPH. SOME CELLS ARE PRODUCING RAINFALL RATES FROM .3 TO .7
INCHES PER HOUR MAINLY SOUTH OF A SILVER CITY REDROCK LINE. MORE
STEADY STRATIFORM TYPE RAIN IS FALLING OVER NORTHWEST GRANT
COUNTY WITH RATES ESTIMATED FROM .1 TO .3 INCHES PER HOUR. A LOT
OF THE RAIN IS FALLING OVER PREVIOUS SATURATED GROUND SO EVEN WITH
LIGHTER RAIN AMOUNTS...FLOODING OF LOW AREAS IS STILL POSSIBLE.
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS STILL OCCURRING IN SOUTHERN GRANT
AND NORTHERN HIDALGO COUNTIES. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO BE VERY
CAREFUL AS IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO DETECT FLOODED AREAS AT NIGHT.
DON`T TAKE A CHANCE. TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN.
