THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS MAINLY CREST AREAS OF THE NORTHERN SIERRA
NEVADA.

THROUGH 400 PM...LOOK FOR MOST OF THE ACTIVITY TO AFFECT AREAS
NEAR PINECREST LAKE AND STRAWBERRY...INTO HIGH-COUNTRY AREAS NEAR
DARDANELLE...EBBETTS PASS...UPPER BLUE LAKE AND THE PACIFIC CREST
TRAIL.

THE STRONGER STORMS THAT DO DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON WILL BE
CAPABLE OF GENERATING PEA TO MARBLE SIZE HAIL...LOCAL HEAVY RAIN
AND OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING STRIKES AS THEY DRIFT SLOWLY TOWARD THE
NORTHEAST.
