AFTERNOON OVER THE PLAINS OF NORTHEAST COLORADO...

.STRONG NORTH WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF
NORTHEAST COLORADO BEHIND A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE
CENTRAL PLAINS. IN ADDITION TO THE STRONG WINDS...SCATTERED SNOW
SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE. THE STRONG WINDS COMBINED WITH THE SNOW
WILL COULD REDUCE VISIBILITY TO NEAR ZERO AT TIMES UNDER THE SNOW
SHOWERS.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DENVER HAS ISSUED A HIGH WIND
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 1 PM MST TUESDAY. THE
HIGH WIND WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING...HIGH WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT AND
  CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY AFTERNOON OVER THE PLAINS OF
  NORTHEAST COLORADO.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 25 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 60 MPH.

* VISIBILITY...MAY FALL UNDER A QUARTER MILE DUE TO BLOWING SNOW.

* IMPACTS...PEOPLE PLANNING TRAVEL SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR STRONG
  CROSS WINDS CAUSING HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. DRIVERS OF
  LIGHT WEIGHT OR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES SHOULD CONSIDER DELAYING
  TRAVEL OR USE ALTERNATE ROUTES. IN ADDITION TO POWERFUL
  CROSSWINDS...DRIVERS SHOULD ALSO ANTICIPATE AREAS OF BLOWING
