URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE QUAD CITIES IA IL
1106 AM CDT SUN JUL 24 2016

...DANGEROUS HEAT THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING...

.HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR TODAY AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT
THAT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA. HEAT INDICES OF 100 TO AROUND 110
DEGREES WILL MAKE FOR OPPRESSIVE OUTDOOR CONDITIONS THROUGH THE
EARLY EVENING HOURS. THE RISK FOR HEAT EXHAUSTION AND HEAT STROKE
WILL EXIST ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE ACCUMULATIVE EFFECT OF
SEVERAL DAYS IN A ROW WITH THIS KIND OF HEAT AND HUMIDITY. THE
COLD FRONT WILL BRING COOLER AND LESS HUMID CONDITIONS TO ALL OF THE
AREA BEGINNING TONIGHT.
