...WIND ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE ANTELOPE VALLEY...

.STRENGTHENING ONSHORE FLOW AND INCREASING WEST WINDS ALOFT WILL
BRING GUSTY SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS TO THE ANTELOPE VALLEY LATE
THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING. WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED
IN MANY AREAS...WITH ISOLATED GUSTS TO 55 MPH POSSIBLE IN WINDIER
LOCATIONS. THE GUSTY WINDS WILL CAUSE SOME BLOWING DUST AND
SAND...WHICH WILL LOCALLY REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO ONE HALF MILE OR
LESS AT TIMES. WINDS WILL BEGIN TO DIMINISH DURING THIS EVENING.

WIND ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO
9 PM PST THIS EVENING.

* WINDS AND TIMING...SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 20
  TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH LATE THIS MORNING AND PERSIST
  THROUGH THIS EVENING BEFORE SLOWLY DIMINISHING. ISOLATED GUSTS
  TO 55 MPH ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WINDIEST LOCATIONS.

* IMPACTS...MAJOR ROADWAYS THAT COULD BE AFFECTED INCLUDE HIGHWAYS
  14 AND 138. IN ADDITION...AREAS OF BLOWING DUST AND SAND COULD
  RESTRICT VISIBILITIES TO ONE HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.
