THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MISSOULA HAS ISSUED A HEAT
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THURSDAY TO 8 PM PDT
FRIDAY.

* IMPACTS/TIMING: VERY HOT CONDITIONS WILL AGAIN DEVELOP ACROSS
  THE LOWER VALLEYS OF NORTH CENTRAL IDAHO THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.

* TEMPERATURES: TEMPERATURES ARE  EXPECTED TO SOAR INTO THE 100
  TO 105 RANGE THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND FRIDAY, EXCEPT LOCALLY UP TO
  110 IN THE LOWER SALMON RIVER VALLEY AND HELLS CANYON.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...OROFINO...KOOSKIA...HIGHWAY 95
  SLATE CREEK TO RIGGINS...HELLS CANYON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HEAT ADVISORY MEANS THAT A PERIOD OF HOT TEMPERATURES IS
EXPECTED. HOT TEMPERATURES WILL CREATE A SITUATION IN WHICH HEAT
RELATED ILLNESSES AND DEHYDRATION ARE POSSIBLE. DRINK PLENTY OF
FLUIDS...STAY IN AN AIR- CONDITIONED ROOM...STAY OUT OF THE
SUN...AND CHECK UP ON RELATIVES AND NEIGHBORS.
