...NOAA Weather Radio Station WXL-66 at Mountain View is Off the
Air...

NOAA Weather Radio station WXL-66 at Mountain View, operating on
a frequency of 162.45 MHz, and serving Boone, Marion, Baxter,
Fulton, Sharp, Izard, Independence, Stone, Cleburne, Van Buren,
Searcy, and Newton Counties is currently off the air.

Technicians are expected to make repairs on Monday, but at this
time, it is unknown when the transmitter will return to service.

In the mean time, people are encouraged to tune to the following
NOAA Weather Radio transmitters for backup...

WNG-639 at Cherokee Village, 162.475 MHz...

Serving Fulton, Izard, Sharp Counties

WXN-92 at Harrison, 162.525 MHz...

Serving Boone, Newton, Searcy, and Marion Counties

WWG-54 at Yellville, 162.50 MHZ...
