...Updated damage survey results for Posey County, Indiana...

The following is the preliminary damage assessment for Posey County,
Indiana.

 * Event Type.........EF1 Tornado

 * Event Date.........Monday October 13th, 2014

 * Event Time.........Began at 525 PM CDT (Exact time TBD)
                      Ended at 531 PM CDT (Exact time TBD)

 * Event Location.....Path began about 2 miles southeast of New
                      Harmony and ended about 3 miles northeast of
                      New Harmony

 * Peak Wind..........100 MPH

 * Avg. Path Width....150 Yards

 * Path Length........4 Miles

 * Injuries...........None

 * Fatalities.........None

 * Damage Detail......The damage path started at a farmhouse, where
                      a large tree was uprooted and another large
                      tree was snapped. A tin roof was blown off a barn.
                      The path was mostly through corn and soybean
                      fields for the first couple miles. The strongest
                      winds occurred near the end of the damage path.
                      About one-half mile southeast of the intersection
                      of Indiana Highways 68 and 69, the tornado passed
                      through a heavily wooded area. Numerous large trees
                      were snapped in this area. The tornado ended at
                      Highway 68, where a tree and limbs were blown
                      down.
