FOR THIS FEBRUARY WAS 47.7 DEGREES. THIS RANKS AS THE WARMEST
FEBRUARY, BREAKING THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 46.9 SET IN 1976.

THE MONTHLY AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 37.8 DEGREES. THIS ALSO
RANKS AS THE WARMEST FOR FEBRUARY, BREAKING THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF
36.6 SET IN 1998 AND 1997.

TEMPERATURE RECORDS FOR THE WASHINGTON DC AREA HAVE BEEN KEPT AT
RONALD REAGAN NATIONAL AIRPORT SINCE 1941. ADDITIONAL TEMPERATURE
