 A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 78 DEGREES WAS SET AT MUSCLE SHOALS
YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 75 WHICH WAS SET IN 2008.
THIS ALSO TIES THE WARMEST ALL-TIME DAILY MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE ON
RECORD FOR DECEMBER, WHICH WAS LAST SET ON DECEMBER 7TH 1998, BUT
OCCURRED ON FIVE OTHER DAYS: DEC 24TH 1964, DEC 24TH 1955, DEC 31ST
1951, DEC 7TH 1951 AND DEC 5TH 1933.

A RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 68 DEGREES WAS SET AT MUSCLE
SHOALS YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 60 DEGREES
WHICH WAS SET IN 1982. THIS IS ALSO THE WARMEST ALL-TIME RECORD HIGH
DAILY MINIMUM TEMPERATURE FOR MUSCLE SHOALS FOR THE MONTH OF
DECEMBER. THE PREVIOUS DAILY RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE FOR THE
MONTH OF DECEMBER WAS 67 DEGREES, WHICH WAS SET ON DECEMBER 2ND
1982.

THE DAILY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE YESTERDAY AT MUSCLE SHOALS WAS 73
DEGREES WHICH IS NOW THE ALL-TIME WARMEST DECEMBER DAY ON RECORD AT
MUSCLE SHOALS. THE PREVIOUS RECORD WAS 71 DEGREES, WHICH WAS SET ON
TWO DAYS IN THE PAST: DECEMBER 7TH 1998 AND DECEMBER 2ND 1982.
