...RECORD SNOWFALL AND PRECIPITATION SET IN NORFOLK NEBRASKA...

A TOTAL OF 14.2 INCHES OF SNOW FELL IN NORFOLK YESTERDAY. THIS IS
THE HIGHEST AMOUNT EVER RECORDED ON FEBRUARY 2ND...EASILY BREAKING
THE OLD RECORD OF 3.0 INCHES SET IN 1936.

ALL THAT SNOW MELTED DOWN RESULTED IN 1.27 INCHES OF LIQUID
PRECIPITATION. THIS TOTAL ALSO BROKE THE RECORD FOR THE MOST
LIQUID PRECIPITATION FOR FEBRUARY 2ND...BREAKING THE OLD RECORD
OF 0.40 INCHES SET IN 1919.
