...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED TO BRING ABUNDANT LIGHTNING...

.LOW PRESSURE APPROACHING FROM THE SOUTHWEST IS BRINGING
INSTABILITY TO THE REGION. AT THE SAME TIME MONSOONAL MOISTURE IS
BEING PULLED IN FROM THE SOUTH. THIS COMBINATION WILL CREATE A
RIPE ENVIRONMENT FOR THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT AND THE POTENTIAL
FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING. PEAK ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR DURING
THE HOTTEST PORTION OF THE DAY...MID AFTERNOON TODAY THROUGH EARLY
EVENING...AND AGAIN ON SUNDAY. THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO
PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT WETTING RAINS. LOCALLY GUSTY AND ERRATIC WINDS
