...ONGOING DRY CONDITIONS AND INCREASING WINDS WILL LEAD TO
INCREASED FIRE DANGER THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...

.DRY WEATHER HAS BEEN QUITE PRONOUNCED SINCE LATE DECEMBER. THIS
HAS ALLOWED THE FIRE DANGER TO INCREASE. TRADE WINDS ARE EXPECTED
TO INCREASE DURING THE AFTERNOONS. INCREASED WINDS WILL INCREASE
THE DIFFICULTY IN CONTROLLING ANY FIRES THAT MAY DEVELOP.

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING
FOR GUAM...

The National Weather Service in Tiyan has issued a Fire Weather
Watch, which is in effect through Monday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Guam, particularly the southern and central
  mountains.

* WIND...East at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 25 mph.

* HUMIDITY...Near 60 percent.

* TEMPERATURE...Highs in the upper 80s.

* TIMING...Most dangerous time will be from late morning until
  near sunset.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly and
  could ignite spot fires downwind especially along east-facing
  slopes. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
red flag warnings.
