.AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL MOVE ACROSS THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST
MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. THIS WILL BRING AN INCREASE IN WESTERLY
WINDS COMBINED WITH LOW HUMIDITY. THE INCREASED WINDS WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING. THE HOT TEMPERATURES HAVE COOLED
OFF AND THE HAINES INDEX HAS DECREASED THIS EVENING REDUCING THE
HAINES THREAT FOR EXISTING OR NEW WILDFIRES.
