For the Canadian River...the following locations are included...
Amarillo 19N.

.One to three inches of rain have fallen upstream of the gage
site. Additional rainfall is possible over the next few days. The
runoff from the heavy rain has caused a significant rise on the
river. The river is expected to rise to around 5.1 feet by tomorrow
morning.

For the Canadian River Near Amarillo 19N.
* Latest stage: 3.1 feet at 1 PM Saturday.
* Flood stage: 7.0 feet.
* Bankfull stage: 6.0 feet.
At 7.0 feet...Dirt road that runs east alongside the river channel
becomes flooded. This road leads to Rosita Creek Flats Recreation
Area, where primitive camping occurs.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
