...LOOK FOR RISING WATER LEVELS ON STREAMS AND CREEKS THIS
WEEKEND DUE TO HEAVY RAINFALL...

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN MONTANA AND NORTHERN
WYOMING THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND WILL PRODUCE AREAS OF HEAVY
RAINFALL. RAIN TOTALS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS MOST
OF THE REGION THROUGH SUNDAY. WATER LEVELS IN SMALL STREAMS AND
CREEKS WILL LIKELY RISE THROUGH THE WEEKEND...WITH SOME BECOMING
FAST-FLOWING.

AT THIS TIME...IT APPEARS THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL WILL BE ALONG THE
FOOTHILLS. STREAMS AND CREEKS IN THESE LOCATIONS COULD RISE
QUICKLY...POSSIBLY APPROACHING BANKFULL LEVELS. LARGER RIVERS WILL
ALSO RISE WITH ADDED RUNOFF...BUT ARE NOT EXPECTED TO REACH
CAPACITY.

ALTHOUGH WIDESPREAD FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED...PLEASE BE MINDFUL
OF RISING WATER LEVELS AND FAST FLOW IN AREA WATERWAYS THIS
WEEKEND. CONSIDER MOVING VULNERABLE EQUIPMENT AWAY FROM THE SHORE
IN CASE OF MINOR LOW-LAND FLOODING.
