...Special River Statement for the Millstone River ...

Runoff from heavy rain on Saturday morning caused significant rises along the
upper reaches of the Millstone River.  Specifically, the Millstone River at
Griggstown rose above its 10 foot flood stage on Saturday afternoon.  The river
crested overnight and will slowly fall through the day today. Causeways across
the Millstone River may continue to be affected by the high water through the
day.

For the Millstone River at Blackwells Mills, the latest stage was 6.8 feet at 8
AM Sunday. The forecast is for a stage of 5.9 feet at 7 AM Monday. Causeways
across the Millstone River may be closed due to high water. Do not go around
barricades.
