Significant rises are expected on the following river:

For the Marmaton River at Fort Scott.  Flood stage is 38.0 feet. The
latest stage was 35.6 feet at 1 PM Friday. The river may rise to near
37.8 feet by 7 PM Friday.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
