HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREAT FALLS MT
1158 AM MDT THU MAY 14 2015

AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CENTERED OFF THE WEST COAST WILL
MOVE OVER THE NORTHERN GREAT BASIN BY FRIDAY. PRECIPITATION
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM WILL BECOME WIDESPREAD FRIDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY.

HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED OVER CENTRAL AND
SOUTHWEST MONTANA. RIVERS WILL RISE DURING THIS PERIOD AND SOME MAY
BECOME FAST-RUNNING AND DANGEROUS. HOWEVER, FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED
AT THIS TIME.

PRECIPITATION WILL DIMINISH SATURDAY NIGHT AND RIVERS WILL BE
AFFECTED AT LEAST THROUGH SUNDAY.
