REGIONAL WEATHER SYNOPSIS FOR THE NORTH CENTRAL UNITED STATES

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE REGION WILL BEGIN TO MOVE EASTWARD FOR
TONIGHT AND THURSDAY...AND AS IT DOES SO WARMER AND MORE HUMID AIR
WILL RETURN TO THE NORTHERN PLAINS. THIS RETURNING MOISTURE WILL
KICK OFF THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY THROUGH PORTIONS OF SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NEBRASKA TONIGHT...THEN SCATTERED ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION ON
THURSDAY.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL BE MOSTLY IN THE 50S AND 60S...EXCEPT
FOR A FEW 40S OVER NORTHERN MINNESOTA. HIGHS ON THURSDAY WILL BE IN
THE 70S THROUGH NORTHERN MINNESOTA...TO AS WARM AS THE LOWER 90S
OVER THE FAR WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE DAKOTAS AND NEBRASKA.
