.SYNOPSIS...An embedded shortwave low pressure system continues to
move through the Northern Rockies today. The majority of the
precipitation will remain south of GNP, but afternoon and evening
showers could bring light snow accumulations to the road
especially above 5000 feet. Easterly winds will persist through
the weekend. A ridge of high pressure becomes the dominant feature
by Sunday into the first part of next week. A warming and drying
trend is expected under the ridge.
