The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
  Central and eastern Indiana

* Effective this Saturday morning from 205 AM until 700 AM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Isolated significant damaging wind gusts to 75 mph possible

SUMMARY...A forward-propagating complex of strong to severe
thunderstorms, with an embedded bowing structure, is expected to
pose a risk of damaging gusts.  Activity should move southeastward
over the watch corridor for a few hours before encountering stable
air and weakening.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40
statute miles either side of a line from 20 miles north northwest of
Lafayette IN to 35 miles southeast of Muncie IN. For a complete

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
