NEAR THE REPUBLIC OF PALAU AND CHUUK STATE...BUT SOUTH OF
YAP...BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND 8N FROM 130E TO 153E.

A SURFACE TROUGH HEADS NORTHEAST FROM SOUTH OF KOSRAE AT 2N162E TO A
WEAK CIRCULATION CENTERED SOUTHWEST OF MAJURO AT 6N167E...THEN
EXTENDS EAST-SOUTHEAST THROUGH 4N180. CONVERGING TRADE WINDS NEAR
AND WEST OF THIS FEATURE ARE GENERATING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS NEAR POHNPEI...KOSRAE AND MAJURO WITHIN 200
