...SNOW...WIND AND COLD TEMPERATURES COMBINE TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS
TRAVEL CONDITIONS AT TIMES THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

A STRONG UPPER LEVEL LOW OVER NORTHERN INDIANA WILL MOVE SLOWLY
EAST THROUGH MIDWEEK. THE UPPER LOW AND NORTHWEST WINDS OFF LAKE
MICHIGAN WILL RESULT IN SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SNOW SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED SQUALLS ACROSS CENTRAL INDIANA THROUGH TONIGHT. THE SNOW
SHOWERS WILL BE LESS NUMEROUS LATER TONIGHT AND END ACROSS
NORTHEASTERN PARTS OF CENTRAL INDIANA BY LATE WEDNESDAY.

IN ADDITION...VERY COLD AIR WILL FILTER IN OVER THE OHIO VALLEY.
HIGHS BY WEDNESDAY ARE NOT LIKELY TO RISE OUT OF THE TEENS WITH
SUBZERO WIND CHILLS OVERNIGHT TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY MORNING AND
AGAIN OVERNIGHT WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING.

THE COMBINATION OF SNOW WITH WIND GUSTS TO 25 MPH WILL PRODUCE
BLOWING SNOW AND LOWERED VISIBILITY AT TIMES IN HEAVIER SNOW
SHOWERS. THE SNOW AND WIND WILL CREATE SOME HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
CONDITIONS ACROSS CENTRAL INDIANA WITH ICY AND SNOW COVERED
ROADWAYS...PARTICULARLY SIDE STREETS AND OTHER UNTREATED ROADS.

TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE BY LATE
WEDNESDAY WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS NEAR AND EAST OF A KOKOMO TO
RUSHVILLE LINE. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL OCCUR IF HEAVIER SNOW
SHOWERS PERSIST.

MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT TO SLICK ROADS AND SUDDEN REDUCTIONS IN
THE VISIBILITY AT TIMES THROUGH MIDWEEK.
