...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE MOUNTAINS IN NORTHWESTERN
VENTURA COUNTY UNTIL 445 PM PDT...

At 308 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southwest of Lockwood Valley, or 15 miles north of Ojai, moving
west at 5 mph towards Highway 33.

Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm. In addition, heavy downpours may result in
localized flooding of low lying areas. Flash flooding of drainages
will be possible, and may flood local roadways including Highway 33.

Locations impacted include...
Western Lockwood Valley...Reyes Peak...
and Highway 33 from Lockwood Valley Road to the Santa Barbara County
line.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
