...LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FOR THE SOUTHERN OREGON CASCADE PASSES
TODAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

A SERIES OF STORMS WILL BRING COOLER TEMPERATURES AND PERIODS OF
LIGHT SNOW TO THE SOUTHERN OREGON CASCADE PASSES. A FRONT WILL
THROUGH THE AREA THIS MORNING AND WILL BRING ROAD SNOW LEVELS
DOWN TO 4000 FEET. ROAD SNOW LEVELS WILL RISE TO 4500 FEET THIS
AFTERNOON, BUT COULD TEMPORALLY LOWER TO 400 FEET IN HEAVIER
SHOWERS AS A COLD AND MOIST AIR MASS WILL MOVE OVERHEAD THIS
AFTERNOON. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF AROUND 3 TO 6 INCHES ARE EXPECTED
THROUGH TONIGHT NEAR DIAMOND AND CRATER LAKE AND 1 TO 3 INCHES IN
THE SOUTHERN OREGON CASCADES PASSES ABOVE 4000 FEET.

WEDNESDAY MORNING, A WEAK FRONT WILL BRING ADDITIONAL MOISTURE
AND LIGHT SNOW TO THE SOUTHERN OREGON CASCADES. AHEAD OF AN
INCOMING WARM FRONT WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING, SNOW LEVELS
ARE EXPECTED TO GRADUALLY RISE ABOVE PASS LEVELS TO AROUND 5500
FEET.

SNOW MAY CAUSE LOCALIZED TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES NEAR DIAMOND AND
CRATER LAKE AND SOUTHERN OREGON CASCADE PASSES THROUGH EARLY
WEDNESDAY.
