...IMPROVING WEATHER OVER THE CNMI...

TYPHOON ATSANI CONTINUES TO MOVE NORTHWARD AWAY FROM THE MARIANAS.
THIS HAS ALLOWED THE MONSOONAL WINDS AND SHOWERS TO THE SOUTH OF
ATSANI TO DIMINISH.

FOR AGRIHAN...PAGAN...AND ALAMAGAN ISLANDS...

MONSOON WINDS WILL BE WEST TO SOUTHWEST AT 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS
TO 30 MPH TODAY. WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO TAPER OVER THE WEEKEND.
HAZARDOUS SEAS WILL RANGE BETWEEN 10 AND 13 FEET TODAY. SEAS WILL
CONTINUE TO SUBSIDE THROUGH MONDAY. HEAVY RAINFALL HAS ABATED AND IS
NO LONGER EXPECTED.

DO NOT NOT ATTEMPT ANY TRAVEL BY BOAT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.

FOR SAIPAN AND TINIAN...

ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACCOMPANIED BY SOUTHWEST WINDS OF
15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH WILL CONTINUE ACROSS TINIAN AND
SAIPAN THROUGH TODAY.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM MONDAY. WINDS
OF AROUND 15 KNOTS WITH GUSTS TO 25 KNOTS AND COMBINED SEAS OF 10 TO
12 FEET ARE EXPECTED THROUGH TODAY. WIND AND SEA CONDITIONS WILL
CONTINUE TO IMPROVE THROUGH MONDAY.

THIS WILL BE THE LAST STATEMENT REGARDING THE CURRENT BOUT OF
MONSOONAL WEATHER ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ON GUAM.
