...LOW ELEVATION SNOW THIS MORNING FOR THE SOUTH WASHINGTON AND
NORTH OREGON COAST...

A low pressure system from the north is moving offshore of the
Washington and Oregon coast today for cool weather and showers
across southwest Washington and northwest Oregon. Temperatures are
in the mid 30s along the coast this morning...and heavier showers
may mix snow down to sea level at times. Most areas will have
little to no snow accumulation. However, spotty amounts anywhere
from a dusting to up to 1 inch of snow are possible. The best
chances for accumulating snow will remain above 500 ft. Any
accumulations will be short-lived and should melt within a couple
of hours. Temperatures will warm this afternoon...ending any
threat of accumulations at the lowest levels.
