...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN JEFFERSON COUNTY...

At 325 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles southeast of Centralia to 8 miles northwest
of Bluford to near Mount Vernon, moving northeast at 50 mph.  These
storms continue to produce large hail and damaging winds, and have a
history of winds gusting to 70 mph, so take cover now!

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Vernon, Bluford, Dix and Belle Rive.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
