A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT RELATIVELY
MILD TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE LISTENING AREA FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF
DAYS. HOWEVER...A RETURN TO REAL WINTER IS EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND.
AT THAT TIME SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE
REGION...AND USHER IN A MUCH COLDER AIRMASS OVER THE NORTHERN
PLAINS. THE COLD AIR IS EXPECTED TO STICK AROUND INTO THE FIRST
PART OF NEXT WEEK.

HIGHS TODAY SHOULD BE MILD...RANGING FROM AROUND 40 OVER THE
SISSETON HILLS...TO GREATER THAN 60 OVER PARTS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
SOUTH DAKOTA. LOWS TONIGHT SHOULD BE A FEW DEGREES EITHER SIDE OF
30. WEDNESDAY WILL BE COOLER WITH HIGHS VARYING FROM THE MIDDLE
30S...TO LOWER 50S.
