* LOCATIONS...ALL OF NORTHERN CONNECTICUT INTO WESTERN-CENTRAL
  MASSACHUSETTS. THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES AND TOWNS OF UNION...
  VERNON...PUTNAM...WILLIMANTIC...BARRE...FITCHBURG AND AYER.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 3 TO 6 INCHES WITH HIGHEST
  AMOUNTS ACROSS EASTERN CONNECTICUT INTO CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS.

* TIMING...STEADIEST SNOW CONTINUES TO ABOUT 4 PM AND THEN SNOW
  INTENSITY DIMINISHES WITH MINOR ACCUMULATIONS THEREAFTER.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BE SLOW ON ANY UNPLOWED OR UNTREATED
  SURFACES.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE MID 20S.

  WINDS AND HEAVY SNOW WILL CREATE BLIZZARD/WHITE-OUT CONDITIONS
  AT TIMES.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 8 TO 12 INCHES ALONG WITH
  LOCALIZED HIGHER AMOUNTS UP TO 14 INCHES POSSIBLE.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL FALL HEAVY AT TIMES THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON.
  SNOW INTENSITY WILL BEGIN TO DIMINISH BY EARLY EVENING...BUT
  LOCALIZED BANDS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW MAY PERSIST INTO THE
  OVERNIGHT HOURS.
