WARNING FOR STRONG WINDS AND SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM PST MONDAY.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 40 TO 60 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 90 MPH.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 8 INCHES.

* TIMING...STRONG WINDS DEVELOPING BY SUNDAY MORNING AND
  CONTINUING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING WITH INCREASING SNOWFALL AND
  LOWERING SNOW LEVELS SUNDAY NIGHT.

* LOCATIONS...THE GRAPEVINE AREA ALONG INTERSTATE 5...FRAZIER
  PARK...CUDDY VALLEY...ALTA SIERRA...TEHACHAPI AND WALKER PASS.

FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM PST MONDAY.

* LOCATIONS...SOUTHERN SIERRA NEVADA ABOVE 4000 FEET.

* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 FEET.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 70 MPH.

* TIMING...THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED OVER THE HIGHER
  ELEVATIONS SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.

* IMPACTS...THE HEAVY SNOW WILL MAKE MANY ROADS IMPASSABLE AND
  MAY PRODUCE WIDESPREAD POWER OUTAGES DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF THE
  SNOW ON TREE LIMBS AND POWER LINES. STRONG WINDS WILL LEAD TO
  BLOWING SNOW...REDUCED VISIBILITY...AND ADDITIONAL POWER
  OUTAGES.
