THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
IOWA...WEST CENTRAL IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT AND THURSDAY

Strong to severe thunderstorms could move east out of central
Nebraska this evening, or possibly develop in parts of northeast
Nebraska. If storms occur, they will primarily have a large hail
and damaging wind threat. An isolated tornado would also be
possible this evening.

Storms will try to push into the remainder of eastern Nebraska by
late evening, and into western Iowa overnight, but they may lose
intensity as they move farther east.

A cold front should push southeast across the area on Thursday.
Thunderstorms, some possibly severe, could occur along the front.
Large hail and damaging winds would be the main hazards. Chances
are highest in the afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY

Storms could linger into Thursday evening and Thursday night as
the cold front moves through the region. Large hail and damaging
winds along with locally heavy rain are the primary hazards.

There will be some chance of thunderstorms Monday night and again
from Tuesday night into Wednesday for parts of the area.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation could be needed in parts of eastern Nebraska
this evening, but chances seem low. Activation is not expected to
be needed on Thursday.
