THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
IOWA...WEST CENTRAL IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT AND SATURDAY

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS LATE TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY
SATURDAY AFTERNOON. WHILE INSTABILITY AND SHEAR IS FORECAST TO BE
IN THE MODERATE RANGE....SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED AS WARM
MID LEVEL TEMPERATURES WILL TEND TO LIMIT DEVELOPMENT. HOWEVER A
FEW STRONG STORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

AN UPPER LEVEL WAVE WILL MOVE INTO THE HIGH PLAINS THIS EVENING
AND TRACK ACROSS SOUTH DAKOTA AND NORTHERN NEBRASKA...TRIGGERING
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS AS IT MOVES EAST. SCATTERED STORMS ARE
POSSIBLE THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON BEFORE SETTLING SOUTH OF
NORTHEAST NEBRASKA AND WEST CENTRAL IOWA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY

THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PARTS OF THE
AREA TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...BUT THE CHANCE FOR SEVERE STORMS
APPEARS LOW.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT AND SATURDAY

HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 102 AND 110 WILL CONTINUE INTO THE
EVENING FOR MUCH OF SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA AND SOUTHWEST IOWA. THUS A
HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THERE UNTIL 8 PM.

THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING...HOWEVER
NOT SEVERE STORMS ARE EXPECTED.

A BETTER CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL COME SATURDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY EVENING AS AN UPPER LEVEL WAVE INTERACTS WITH A FRONTAL
SYSTEM SETTING UP ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA AND SOUTHWEST IOWA.
SEVERE STORMS WITH DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE SATURDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING GIVEN HIGH INSTABILITY AND MODERATE SHEAR.
EXPECT SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA LATE TONIGHT
TO SPREAD SOUTHEAST DURING THE DAY SATURDAY...THEN INTENSIFY IN
THE AFTERNOON AS TEMPERATURES HEAT UP AND INSTABILITY INCREASES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ENDING BY MIDNIGHT SATURDAY NIGHT. THEN
THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PARTS OF THE AREA
TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. THE CHANCE FOR SEVERE WEATHER WITH THIS
ACTIVITY WILL BE LOW.
