THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
IOWA...WEST CENTRAL IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A few storms will be possible in southeast Nebraska and southwest
Iowa through early afternoon. These storms are along an outflow
boundary from earlier storms to the north. Wind shear remains
quite weak, but there is sufficient instability. These storms
should remain below severe limits.

Severe thunderstorms will be possible by late this afternoon
across northeast Nebraska, after 5 pm. These storms will be
developing along an advancing cold front and will primarily have
a large hail and damaging wind threat. An isolated tornado would
also be possible. Storms will try to push into the remainder of
eastern Nebraska by late evening, and into western Iowa overnight,
but they may lose intensity the further east they get from the
frontal boundary.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

There is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms Thursday afternoon
and Thursday night as the cold front pushes through the region.
Large hail and damaging winds along with locally heavy rainfall
are the primary hazards.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed late this afternoon and this
evening in parts of northeast Nebraska.
