THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST NEBRASKA AND SOUTHEAST
NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A SMALL RISK OF SEVERE STORMS IN FAR SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA
AND SOUTHWEST IOWA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...WITH LARGE HAIL
AND HEAVY RAIN THE PRIMARY THREATS. IN FACT...A FLASH FLOOD WATCH
IS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING FOR THE FAR SOUTHEAST
CORNER OF NEBRASKA AND FAR SOUTHWEST IOWA...GENERALLY SOUTHEAST OF
A LINE FROM BEATRICE AND SHENANDOAH.

THUNDERSTORMS IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS AT EARLY AFTERNOON ARE
EXPECTED TO MOVE AND EXPAND NORTHEAST ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA
AND SOUTHWEST IOWA THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. WHILE
A FEW STORMS COULD DEVELOP AS FAR NORTH AS INTERSTATE 80...THE
STRONGEST STORMS ARE EXPECTED CLOSER TO THE KANSAS AND MISSOURI
BORDERS WHERE INSTABILITY AND SHEAR ARE A BIT HIGHER.

ALSO...TRAINING OF STORMS IS POSSIBLE IN FAR SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA
AND FAR SOUTHWEST IOWA...WHERE STORMS DEVELOP AND MOVE OVER THE
SAME AREAS REPEATEDLY. THIS COULD CAUSE SEVERAL INCHES OF RAIN TO
FALL IN A FEW HOUR PERIOD...WHICH COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES RETURN FRIDAY INTO TUESDAY WITH A GOOD
CHANCE FOR STORMS FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY.
