THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST IOWA
AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

The combination of hot temperatures and elevated humidity will
result in heat indices of 105 to 115 degrees lingering into the
late afternoon and early evening hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

The excessive heat is expected to continue into Friday with
afternoon heat indices of 105 to 110 degrees.

Spotty thunderstorms are possible Saturday into Saturday night,
and then again from Tuesday into Wednesday.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
IOWA...WEST CENTRAL IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

The combination of hot temperatures and elevated humidity will
result in heat indices lingering in the 102-115 degree range late
this afternoon into evening.

Isolated severe storms will be possible this evening across
portions of northeast Nebraska into west-central Iowa. Damaging
winds...hail and locally heavy rainfall will be the primary
hazards with any storms that develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

The excessive heat is expected to continue into Friday with
afternoon heat indices between 100 and 110 degrees.

There will be a chance of thunderstorms for parts of the area
from Friday night into Saturday morning, and again Tuesday into
Wednesday.
