THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
IOWA...WEST CENTRAL IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT AND MONDAY

Hot and humid conditions will result in the heat index reaching
around 100 to 105 degrees through early evening for parts of
eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY

A few thunderstorms are possible as a weather disturbance drifts
eastward across the region Monday night through Tuesday night,
combined with warmth and humidity. Small and gusty winds will be
possible.

The hot and humid weather will continue through the week with
afternoon heat index values topping out in the upper 90s to in
excess of 110 degrees. Currently, it appears that heat index
values could reach or exceed 105 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday
afternoon into early evening, especially within counties along
the Missouri River from east-central and southeast Nebraska into
southwest Iowa.

Additional thunderstorms are possible Wednesday into the weekend,
however the severe weather threat will depend on where fronts are
located along with how hot temperatures are able to get.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
