IOWA...WEST CENTRAL IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HOT AND HUMID TODAY. HIGHS 94 TO 101 WITH HIGHEST HEAT INDEX
VALUES OF 105 TO 114.  A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THE HEAT WILL CONTINUE FOR AREAS SOUTH OF THE FRONT TUESDAY WITH
HIGHS AGAIN FROM 95 TO 100 DEGREES AND HIGHEST HEAT INDEX VALUES
OF 105 TO 110.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FOR SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA AND
SOUTHWEST IOWA LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND TUESDAY NIGHT AS A COLD
FRONT MOVES INTO THE REGION. STORMS MAY BE STRONG TO SEVERE WITH
DAMAGING WINDS...HEAVY RAIN AND LIGHTNING.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
NIGHT.
